Nashville's Music Calendar: CMA Fest to New Year's Eve
Nashville runs on a calendar of crescendos — weeks when Lower Broadway closes, hotels triple, and the city's bachelorette economy hits maximum throughput. Time your trip with it (or against it) deliberately.
The loud weeks
- CMA Fest (June). Four days, multiple stages, Broadway pedestrianized. Nissan Stadium shows empty 60,000 people across one bridge — your pickup point matters more than your dinner reservation.
- July 4th & New Year's Eve. The Big Bash brings half a million to a closed downtown; plan pickups north of Church Street.
- Stadium season. Titans Sundays and stadium tours reshape the east bank all fall.
- Year-round: Friday-to-Sunday bachelorette flow means Broadway gridlock every single weekend — not just festival weeks.
