About Dry Creek Vineyard

A Family Legacy Since 1972

David S. Stare founded Dry Creek Vineyard in 1972, helping spark a renaissance of winemaking in Dry Creek Valley and building the first new winery in the area since Prohibition. Now led by the second generation, the family-owned estate is celebrated for its Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, consistently earning 90-plus point scores.

Recognized as the flagship winery of Dry Creek Valley, the ivy-covered tasting room sits in the heart of the appellation. A nautical, sailing-inspired theme runs throughout, and the grounds include a lawn and bocce court suited to relaxed afternoon tastings.

What you'll taste

Taste acclaimed old-vine Zinfandel, crisp Sauvignon Blanc and estate Cabernet in the tasting room or on the grounds; reservations are recommended and the winery is open daily.

Worth knowing: One of Dry Creek Valley's original wineries and the first built in the appellation since Prohibition, consistently producing 90-plus point wines.
