A historic gravity-flow estate built around one of Livermore's original artesian wells.
The estate traces to an 1884 winery built on land where the well that gives it its name still flows. Today it is known for its proprietary red and white blends, made exclusively from estate-grown fruit matched to the microclimates across the property.
The original gravity-flow winery building anchors the visit, with a tasting room and a hilltop terrace overlooking the vines. Tucked along Mines Road, it has a quieter, off-the-main-drag feel.
Seated flights showcase the signature estate blends, including The Spur and The Whip; reservations are recommended for the roughly 90-minute experience.
Worth knowing: Built around a historic artesian well on an estate dating to the 1880s.
