Tablas Creek was founded in 1989 by the Perrin family of Chateau de Beaucastel and Robert Haas of Vineyard Brands, who imported Rhone grape cuttings to plant in Paso Robles' calcareous soils. The estate became a leading voice for Rhone varieties in California and for regenerative, organic farming.
The vineyard sits in the limestone hills of the Adelaida District, farmed organically and Biodynamically. Seated flight tastings are offered on the patio or at the bar, with a relaxed, agricultural sense of place.
