Founded in 1989 on the western shore of Seneca Lake, Fox Run Vineyards has become one of the Finger Lakes' most recognized producers under longtime owner Scott Osborn. It is best known for dry Riesling, including its Geology Series that explores the influence of the region's ancient glacial soils.
The winery's tasting room occupies a restored 1860s dairy barn surrounded by vineyards, with a cafe and market on site. Guests can taste daily and join hilltop vineyard tours that walk from the tasting room up through the vines to the winemaking facility.
Daily tastings highlight the estate's dry Rieslings and the terroir-focused Geology Series, with a hilltop vineyard tour and a Friday Food & Wine Experience that pairs a flight with lunch; walk-ins are welcome.
