One of the oldest and most beloved wineries on Seneca Lake, family-run for generations and famous for its octagonal cellar.
Opened in 1979 on the eastern shore of Seneca Lake, Wagner Vineyards is one of the oldest and most recognized wineries in the Finger Lakes, now run by the fourth and fifth generations of the Wagner family. It produces more than thirty award-winning wines ranging from bone-dry vinifera to sweet dessert styles.
The estate is anchored by its distinctive octagonal winery building and includes the Ginny Lee Cafe and Wagner Valley Brewing Company on site. Guests can enjoy lake-view flights at the Vantage Point deck or book a guided or library tasting for a deeper look at the wines.
Self-guided flights are always available for walk-ins at the lake-view Vantage Point, while guided and library tastings dig into the estate's vinifera and dessert wines; reservations are strongly suggested for guided tastings.
Worth knowing: Home to a landmark octagonal winery and one of the region's most enduring family operations, with a portfolio of more than 30 award-winning wines.
