About Inglenook

An 1879 estate, restored

Inglenook was founded in 1879 by Finnish sea captain Gustave Niebaum and became one of Napa's most acclaimed estates. Francis Ford Coppola began reuniting the property in 1975 and reclaimed the original Inglenook name in 2011, restoring both the land and the brand.

The 1880s château sits on a vast estate on the Rutherford Bench, with a museum-like sense of Napa history throughout.

What you'll taste

The estate is known for Rubicon, its Cabernet-based Bordeaux-style blend, along with estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and the Blancaneaux white. Tastings and tours run by reservation.

Worth knowing: One of Napa's oldest and most significant estates, and the only major valley winery owned by a famous filmmaker — reassembled over 36 years.
