Lost Draw was launched in 2012 by Andrew Sides, his uncle Andy Timmons, and Troy Ottmers, three founding families with deep roots in farming the Texas High Plains. The winery is committed to 100% Texas wine that highlights the terroir of the High Plains and Hill Country, and it has earned both local and national recognition.
The Johnson City tasting room sits on nine acres of vineyard along Highway 290, just west of downtown. It is a relaxed, grower-minded space where the founding families' farming background shapes the experience as much as the wines.
The Signature Tasting walks through a generous range of sparkling, white, and red wines, all 100% Texas-grown, with member and large-group options available. Reservations are recommended given visitor volume.
